Sidhe, if you don't know, is like some kind of Irish race of fairies or elves. I don't blame you though, most people imagine them as this undead zombie-ish things. I would love to see an artwork of what Martin describes, none of the ones I've seen look like the descriptions. What do you think?
Thanks I know the Martin description and I also know what sidhe are, but I didnŽt follow it, because they are also described as gaunt with skin as white as milk and they have a bloodfreezing presence of terror. It is kind of hard to combine that with beautiful. If I would have gone with the "beautiful" Martin quote, they would always end up looking like snow elves or ice people with no terrifying presence at all. Maybe one day, IŽll come up with an image that combines both. IŽll let you know
